Passeig de Gràcia Association introduces its Marketing Plan 2017

Passeig de Gràcia Association introduced its Marketing Plan 2017 to its associates, collaborators and other establishments of Passeig de Gràcia at the Gallery Hotel on 16th February. The event had a record of attendance with about 90 professionals representing all sectors of the Passeig de Gràcia and public / private organizations dedicated to tourism.

A summary of all the actions carried out in 2016 was presented and the whole plan, both local and international, foreseen for 2017 was presented with actions targeting the international priority markets: Asia (highlighting China), Middle East, Russia and East Countries, and North America (United States, Canada and Mexico).

This 2017, the Association bets on a new digital strategy and social networks, which has been launched in February, with the creation of a new website. The main objective is to position it better in search engines and make it more attractive and easy to use for users, as well as making social networks a useful and indispensable information tool for the city. The new website will sell Passeig de Gràcia as a destination within Barcelona, with a Mediterranean lifestyle where numerous exclusive experiences can be realized.

As the President of the Association, Mr. Luís Sans, explained the development of a marketing plan of this magnitude and investment, applied to a commercial street, is a fact almost unique in the world, result of the contribution of all Associates as well as the effort done by the Board of Directors and the executive team.

The Association is very satisfied with the positive response and the welcome received for the actions planned for this year.
