"INJECT LOVE" IN THE STREET
As we said in a previous article, Casa Batlló hosts the art exhibition ‘Inject Love‘, with 23 works that occupy the different rooms of the house and that the visitor can discover during the tour of his visit.
The novelty is that, in order for more people to know the exhibition, the works ‘Kissing Car‘ and ‘Love‘ have been located on the street in front of Casa Batlló and on the corner of Aragón with Paseo de Gracia until the May 12.
The different sculptures, photographs and installations that are part of the exhibition propose a dialogue about love with a certain ironic tone, recalling how we have felt at some point in our lives in relation to romantic love. In turn, offers creative and alternative ideas to improve the typical demonstrations of love, remembering the importance of love from the humanistic and social prism. An art that finds its place in both public and private spaces.
‘Love’
One of the works that occupies the street, it is an installation that brings together the four large-scale letters of the word “LOVE”. The letters work like large mailboxes.
Kissing car
It is the artists’ own car turned into a work of art. According to the artists themselves, it is a car that has accompanied them for 11 years.
These sculptures, as well as the entire exhibition, are included with the visitor’s entry of Casa Batlló.
