Fam Trip with Coral Travel
On November 24th a Fam Trip was held with the collaboration of the Agència Catalana de Turisme with a group of travel agents from Coral Travel, one of the most important luxury operators in Russia.
During the tour through Paseo de Gràcia, the grup had a guided tour in La Pedrera, along with a visit to Bagués-Masriera jewelry. The group had the opportunity to enjoy a meal at Tenorio, offered by Grupo Cacheiro.
Although it is true that this year the arrival of Russian tourists has suffered a drop of 9.7% compared to 2015, this market still ranks second in terms of spending of non-EU customers in Barcelona, according to Global Blue. Its main motivation is the purchases and this is demons-trated in the value of its average ticket that exceeds 500 €, below only of the Chinese.
The Paseo de Gràcia Association continues to work to attract these tourists and for this reason will continue to be one of the main markets facing 2017.
