Promotion in China: Beijing and Shanghai

The Asian customer represents a large part of the income that tourism generates to Paseo de Gràcia, especially the Chinese, for this reason the Association concentrates many efforts in this market in origin.
Thanks to the collaboration with Turisme de Barcelona, Paseo de Gràcia Association participated in a workshop organized in the two most important cities of China – Beijing and Shanghai last November, which was attended by approximately 150 luxury travel agents, holiday and corporate.
As in the previous workshop in Russia held in mid October, the Association represented more closely certain shopping centers in the shopping area of Paseo de Gràcia: Rabat, Santa Eulalia, Mhistik, Carmina Shoemaker and Bagués Masriera. Thanks to the good reception of this format of representation, both for the attendees and the partners, the Association plans to continue with this strategy in the next workshops that will be held next year to give the possibility to all partners be represented.
