A more immersive audio guide for La Pedrera

Continuing with the novelties that it already presented in March, and which want to convert the experience of the visitor of La Pedrera into a total sensorial spectacle, Casa Milà launches a new audio guide that seeks an even more immersive impression. This audio guide highlights the one that was the great source of inspiration of the architect Antoni Gaudí: nature.

Thus, the visitor of La Pedrera is transported to a fantastic dimension and to another time in which he can hear the heartbeat of a great animal when he reaches the attic of the house designed by Gaudí, as if he had been devoured by him. You can also hear the telluric forces of nature and the poems of the warriors while walking on the roof of the building. The new audio guide is designed to facilitate the visitor’s route, as it has sensors that automatically recognize where you are and what you are seeing at all times.

The digital image of La Pedrera, on the other hand, has also been renewed, with a more intuitive web, with more content and accessible to all kinds of audiences. This website is complemented with the launch of a blog conceived as an informative channel that collects curiosities, news of current affairs and articles related to art and its techniques, and that is designed for both citizens of Barcelona and for tourists . The new website allows you to plan your visit to Gaudí’s masterpiece and to extend the information, and its content is also accessible to people with visual or auditory difficulties.  

All these improvements are designed to consolidate the position of La Pedrera as an innovative and constantly evolving cultural and heritage facility.
