Workshop in London with Catalunya Premium program
Last September 19, the Passeig de Gràcia Association attended the workshop organized by the Agència Catalana de Turisme in London, which is part of the boards’ program to promote luxury tourism under the label Catalunya Premium, of which the Association is a member.
The Director of Tourism Marketing of the Passeig de Gràcia Association, Veronica Rodriguez, attended the workshop to present all of the proposals regarding accommodation, gastronomy, culture and shopping in Passeig de Gràcia and its surrounding streets.
This is the first initiative of its kind to be carried out in this market, which is of great importance to customers, both for business trips and Premium holidays. The British market holds considerable importance for Barcelona and for the vast majority of the board’s partners, especially hotels, as it is one of the countries that each year brings more visitors to the city.
The format of the initiative, organized by the Agència Catalana de Turisme (The Tourism Agency of Catalunya), was small and with very specific attendees: around 45 travel agents that represent some of the best companies in the industry.
We had the opportunity to hold interesting and very detailed meetings with some 15 companies, which were very interested in knowing the wide range of the city and Passeig de Gràcia as a high profile tourist destination.
