Great success in the Solidarity Xmas Tree fundraising
The last night of December 3 was held the charity auction Solidarity Xmas Tree, which has raised a total of 106,500 euros through the sale of 13 Christmas trees created by well-known luxury brands and interior design that have participated in this second edition. The proceeds will go to the Pequeño Deseo Foundation and the Pasqual Maragall Foundation.
13 trees created by the brands were auctioned: Alfons & Damian, Brunello Cucinelli, Cartier, Castañer, Christian Louboutin, Ermenegildo Zegna, ETRO, Loewe, Luzio, Lydia Delgado, Natura Bissé, Rabat and Santa Eulalia. The event took place during a charity evening at the Majestic Hotel & Spa in Barcelona. The event started with a dinner, where the renowned chef Nandu Jubany created a special menu. Then, the President of Sotheby’s Spain, Flavia Hohenlohe, was in charge of conducting this crowded auction.
The trees showed the essence and philosophy of each brand. We saw creative and daring trees such as Christian Louboutin, others more colorful as was Lydia Delgado, even the most traditional such as Cartier or Rabat.
Among those attending this fantastic evening, special guests include Ms. Sonsoles Díez de Rivera, Marquesa de LLanzol, promoter of the Balenciaga museum; Diana Garrigosa, wife of Paqual Maragall; Cristina VallsTaberner; Isabel Suqué; Rafael Soldevila or Eva Vilallonga, among others.
Each of the 13 Solidarity Xmas Tree found in this magical night, a new home.
