A new social project for Christmas lighting is taking place at the Palau Robert with the Casal dels Infants.

Light to be seen is the name given to this new social project at Palau Robert. This initiative arises as a didactic ecological exercise, to learn and discover with creativity and raise awareness, involving children in the design and production of Christmas lights for different parts of the city of Barcelona, Badalona and Santa Coloma.

In this case, the Christmas lighting proposal for the facade of Palau Robert is formed by a LED light cable stringing trough recycled plastic packaging pieces that are being collected, cleaned and manipulated by children and youngsters of the Casal. Using steel cables, fasteners and LED light cables this line of coloured lights of approximately 200 meters will be attached to the facade of the Palau, covering the facade from the rooftop to the floor and the garden area.

The idea of Light to be seen counts with the participation and complicity of Palau Robert, Casal dels Infants, the Waste Agency of Catalonia, and is managed by the Emiliana Design Studio.
