The last one just inaugurated Italy: I sei sensi (The Six Senses), a new exhibition where the Italian art of the second avant-garde movement takes a leader role presenting their best works.

The selected title for this exhibition emphasizes the importance to add thought to sight, touch, taste, smell or hearing, as another sense. The artist Alighiero Boetti presents his work like this to highlight the capacity of art to make us reason and reflect.

The importance of Italian art in the Suñol collection is not a coincidence, since for many years Josep Suñol had direct contact with several Italian artists and galleries, where he purchased excellent pieces that represent Italian aesthetics and the evolution of the past century artistic movements. Even some of the works included in this exhibition have dedications to Suñol.

Italy: I sei sensi (The Six Senses) has been organised for visitors to enjoy a brief chronological structure, with Futurism as an starting point of the first avant-garde movement. The exhibit includes works by Balla, Battaglia, Boetti, Consagra, Fontana, Griffa, Longobardi, Novelli, Perilli, Spagnulo and Staccioli.
