The Mandarin Oriental wants to share these days a unique visual spectacle in Barcelona: the flowering of its mimosa garden. This “secret garden” located inside the hotel is designed by the famous interior designer Patricia Urquiola and the landscape designer Bet Figueras.

To celebrate, from 1 to 11 February, the Mandarin Oriental invites you to taste a Yzaguirre vermouth and a courtesy “tapa” to enjoy the exquisite visual explosion of nature through the mimosas that populate the space. This “vermouth” will be served every day from 12 to 15 hours.

And if you wish, they invite you to extend your stay in the garden with a picnic created especially for the occasion.

The picnic, personally designed by Carme Ruscalleda (the most awarded chef in the world with 7 Michelin stars), consists of a mimosa soup, a hot-dog, a cookie and a Mimosa cocktail. There are unique moments in life that you have to live them and this is one of them.

A gastronomic hotel

The passion for gastronomy is one of the hallmarks of Mandarin Oriental Barcelona. In addition to the Mimosa Garden, the hotel offers guests and visitors two gastronomic options “made in Carme Ruscalleda”.

The Blanc restaurant, run by executive sous chef Alberto Castiñeiras, offers 2 menus that focus on the revision of classic dishes with the personal touch of the Maresme chef.
