The Passeig de Gràcia Association attends Luxperience
From October 13 to 16, the Passeig de Gràcia Association attended Luxperience virtually, the annual luxury experiential tourism fair which, for the first time, was held online instead of at its usual venue in Sydney. Aimed primarily at Australian operatora, this year, due to its virtual nature, it was able to host different agents and destinations.
The Association had the opportunity to get to know this fair for the first time thanks to our membership in the Catalunya Premium program of the Catalan Tourism Agency (Agència Catalana de Turisme). During the event, we held meetings with 21 travel agents and, on this occasion, we also met with editors and publishers of magazines specialized in travel and luxury lifestyle, to whom we were able to explain Passeig de Gràcia’s varied offer in terms of restaurants, culture, shopping and accommodation.
For their part, Australian travel agents explained the current reality of the tourism market in their country. The forecast return to normality for international travel is expected in 2022, so travel agents anticipate that they will start selling international travel again during the second half of 2021.
