La Nit de Passeig de Gràcia celebrates its tenth edition with great success in terms of attendance
For the tenth edition, Passeig de Gràcia was once again filled with music, gastronomy, culture and shopping on the most festive night of the year. La Nit de Passeig de Gràcia, held last Thursday, December 19th, made the most cosmopolitan avenue of Barcelona filled with thousands of visitors who wanted to enjoy a unique night, and the activities that the participating establishments had prepared, in addition to those that could be found along Passeig de Gràcia.
This year, the stage looked better than ever thanks to the Christmas lighting inaugurated on November 28th, so there is no doubt that this edition of La Nit de Passeig de Gràcia will be remembered as one of the most beautiful celebrations of these years.
In addition to the activities that could be enjoyed in the participating establishments, the presence of some of SEAT’s electric vehicles, the main sponsor of the event, which will soon be inaugurated at the confluence of Diagonal and Passeig de Gràcia Casa SEAT, the building with which the brand intends to pay tribute to Barcelona and its citizens, stood out.
It was precisely the director of Casa SEAT, Gabriele Palma, one of the people who kicked off this edition of La Nit de Passeig de Gràcia, together with the local authorities and the president of the Passeig de Gràcia Association, Mr. Luis Sans. All of them wanted to highlight the importance of Passeig de Gràcia within the commercial network of Barcelona, and the link that Seat has always had with the city.
For its part, the firm Plastic Band prepared an activity related to the reuse and recycling of plastic materials, in which participants were able to build a series of musical instruments that they later put into practice with a batucada by Matalà Barcelona with which this activity ended.
One of the most visited points was the Hexx Øne installation, formed by a tunnel built with more than 7000 LED lights that, together with the music, created a spectacular immersive experience.
The 30 shops participating in this edition of La Nit de Passeig de Gràcia were committed to offering music and gastronomy to the people who entered the establishments. DJ sessions, swing or live piano music, were the protagonists along with special discounts offered throughout the night.
The already traditional solidarity broth prepared by chefs Carme Ruscalleda and Raúl Balam at the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona, whose proceeds will go to the Soñar Despierto Foundation, could not be missed either.
And continuing with the gastronomy, from December 19th to 22nd, eleven restaurants in Passeig de Gràcia offered the best of their select gastronomy to all those who wanted to enjoy the Gastronomic Route, where for 12 Euros you could enjoy a dish of Christmas inspiration, prepared especially for the occasion, accompanied by an Estrella Damm beer. The perfect end to the party for this new edition of La Nit de Passeig de Gràcia.
