New networking day at the Muji flagship store in Passeig de Gràcia
Last Thursday, May 23, we lived a new networking day among the Premium members of the Associació del Passeig de Gràcia.
On this occasion, the place chosen to celebrate this classic meeting of associates was one of the last establishments to join the association. Specifically, the flagship store that Muji has recently opened in our country, and it is the largest store that the Japanese brand has in Europe at the moment.
This new store, occupies three floors of one of the most emblematic buildings of Passeig de Gràcia, the Union and the Phoenix. In addiction, it also has two smaller size stores in Barcelona.
To explain these details, we talked with the President and CEO of Muji for Spain and Portugal, Joaquim de Toca Andreu, who also told us some curiosities of the Japanese lifestyle that apply to the Muji’s brand philosophy and that also move to its more than 800 stores spread across the world.
The afternoon did not finish without trying some of the typical Japanese snacks that Muji sells in its stores, as well as a delicious selection of sushi and sake from Muji Passeig de Gràcia.
And before we left, we took the gift they had prepared for us: the organic cotton tote bag that was created for the opening of the store with the collaboration of Japanese calligraphy artist based in Barcelona, Mitsuru Nagata. It is a classic that it will be permanently in this spectacular establishment.
It is ideal for enjoying a fantastic afternoon in Passeig de gràcia!
