Painter, sculptor, engraver and ceramist, the Mallorcan artist Joan Miró has been one of the artists most linked to the image of Barcelona, ​​who not only has a Fundació Miró with an important background of his work but also has murals and sculptures perfectly identifiable in its urban landscape. Miró is also considered one of the most relevant and influential names of surrealism at an international level.

Now, Joan Miró’s pictorial universe has served as inspiration for a new limited collection by Lupo, called Miró By Lupo. One of the hallmarks of this brand -which has the will to tell stories through art- is the fact that the aesthetics of its products are rooted in the forms of artists as linked to Barcelona as Antoni Gaudí; with this collection it strenghts even more its ties with the city of Barcelona and also with the world of art and culture. At the same time, Lupo captures the imaginative, innovative and avant-garde spirit of one of the most important names in twentieth-century art, characterized by its oniric climate.

Formed by four different models that want to add functionality and elegance by playing with light and color, the Miró By Lupo collection -which has had the collaboration and approval of the heirs of the artist- is made with first quality cowhide. and in its design highlights some of the most representative basic colors of the painter’s work: red, blue, white and black. In addition, inside the bag is represented the work Woman, birds, painted in 1976.

Miró said that a painting should dazzle “like the beauty of a woman or a poem, it is necessary to project an irradiation”, and this has also been the goal of Lupo with these designs. A way to bring the talent of the creator in cities around the planet.
