The Association travels to the United States and México to attend the Roadshow organised by Turisme de Barcelona
As shown by recent studies carried out by Turisme de Barcelona, tourism from the United States is ranked third in the Top 10 Nationalities that perform a greater outlay in Barcelona during their stay, which represents an increase of almost 11% respect the 2015 very important and motivating data for the segment “shopping”. There is also a notable increase in the number of overnights, achieving a 6.1% increase over 2015.
This is why, and as part of the collaboration agreement with Turisme de Barcelona, the Association participated in a workshop held in three American cities: Miami, Houston and Mexico, to present the global offer of Paseo de Gracia to the 300 travel agents and tour operators who attended.
As has already been done on other occasions, in this action was represented in a concrete way a brand of the retail sector, Desigual who had the opportunity to be present in all promotional materials that were distributed.
