Tomás Colomer jewellery celebrates the second edition of the Barcelona Jewelers Award
Several schools of the jewelry sector have collaborated in the event: JORGC, the Massana School, the Labour Art School, the School of Art and Design of Tarragona and the Arsenal Municipal School of Art.
The awarded participants has been chosen by a jury formed by a member of each educational centre and professionals taking part in the contest. Winners will have the privilege of being exposed and the opportunity to sell their pieces to the shops located at Portal del Ángel and Paseo de Gracia, the most crowded and commercial streets of Spain and in the top 10 list worldwide.
This year the contest has been divided in two categories, noble materials (80% of gold and/or silver) and artistic (20% of gold and/or silver). In addition, these categories include junior and senior levels, depending of the jeweler experience in the sector (under/over 5 years)
The goal of this contest is to support and inspire students and professionals of this artistic field.
