Networking Day at the Cookiteca Passeig de Gràcia
Last Tuesday, December 11, the Premium members of the Association met to wish a Merry Christmas and to say goodbye this year enjoying the good company and the excellent treatment that the Cookiteca Passeig de Gràcia offered us.
This gastronomic space has recently opened its doors at number 26 of Passeig de Gràcia (next to El Nacional Restaurant). It offers its visitors courses and workshops guided by top-level chefs, where they can learn to cook delicious recipes that will later prove, as well as new culinary techniques. In addition, the Cookiteca also has a store where sell cooking utensils or appliances.
When we arrived at the Cookiteca, Neus Canal, founder and head of Cookiteca, welcomed and introduced us to Angela and Elisabeth, who were the chefs in charge of guiding and advising us on this fun afternoon.
Distributed in several groups, the members of the Association had the important task of preparing a series of dishes that they would then present to the rest of the guests, which they could taste after the afternoon was over.
Crunchy black sausage appetizer, shrimp and mushroom ravioli, foie shot with carquiñolis, salmon spoon with ginger yogurt or an amazing tomato tartar steak were some of the delicious dishes we could enjoy.
Before sitting at the table and try all these delights, it was the turn of each team to present their dishes, renamed for the occasion with names of the most suggestive and inspired by the Passeig de Gràcia.
Without a doubt, it was a great party end and it served to say goodbye this year and wish a 2019 full of beautiful moments.
