September 1st was the date chosen for the world premiere of their new fragrances, 70 years after the launch of the company’s latest perfume.
After five years traveling the world, exploring and discovering the most characteristic scents of the planet, Jacques Cavallier, master perfumer of Louis Vuitton, has created seven fragrances eau de parfum that trace a journey of emotions in a tribute to femininity.

The tour begins with Rose des Vents, a silky smooth fragrance made from rose centifolia. Also known as rose of May, it’s no wonder the use of this flower at the beginning of the trip as it has a close relationship with Grasse, birthplace of the perfumer. Continuing in Grasse, but with a slight Asian twist, Turbulences, the second perfume is made with Grasse and China jasmine, which gives a scent of white flowers. Next, Dans le Peau with ingredients like Chinese magnolia and leather infusion, Apogée with guaiac wood and lilies of the valleys and Contre Moi, which transports you to a fresh place thanks to the infusion ans extract vanilla from Madagascar and Tahiti. From a mixture of wood from Laos, sambac jasmine and narcissus borns Matière Noire, the only perfume that can be considered unisex. The trip ends with Mille Feux: leather, raspberry, crocus and lily, deep and intense aroma, or as described by the brand: fireworks.
