Catalonia from the sky, the Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s exposition at Palau Robert
After overflying Catalonia, Arthus-Bertrand has managed to freeze hard perfect, neat and dramatic moments seen at ground level. Each of the images evoke a volcano of feelings that stirs the senses and reason silence. To all this the elegant space chosen for holding the event type: The Palau Robert Gardens, a quiet place that allows you to travel to Barcelona in expanding late nineteenth century and know what the gardens of the mansions the bourgeoisie barcelonina built in one of the most exclusive areas.
The artist focuses his gaze in majestic green spaces scattered throughout the territory as Portlligat, Gósol or Espot Valley. Arthus-Bertrand does not forget ephemeral moments as those occurring small phenomenon that Catalans call: “castellers”.
Coinciding with the celebration of World Tourism Day 2014, the Catalan Tourism has decided to release this exhibition at the Palau Robert until November 30.
