The ILTM fair in Shanghai

From June 5 to 8, the Associació Barcelona Passeig de Gràcia was present at the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) held in Shanghai, China. This event is the reference for the Asia-Pacific area within the tourism sector of the luxury travel segment. The Associació was part of the stand that the Catalan Agency of Tourism (ACT) exhibited at the fair, where we participated with different representatives of the sector, such as Bodegas Torres, Hotel Camiral, El Palace and Barcelona Premium, among others. In addition, we share our agenda with the Hotel OMM meeting with more than 60 tour operators from the countries of the area, including Australia, Korea, China and Japan, among others.
Barcelona is already one of the main tourist destinations of these markets in Europe, and we can say that almost 100% of the operators already sell the city as a demand for their customers with a strong commitment to culture, lifestyle, Gastronomy, shopping and exclusive experiences that can be made in the city.

Although most of them have a great knowledge of Barcelona, ​​we had great success advising and making proposals and suggestions, about Paseo de Gracia as one of the most exclusive and interesting areas of the city. It has been a great opportunity to present all the unique experiences that can be organized in Paseo de Gracia and promoting the offer of all our associates.

As far as the Fair is concerned, next year there will be important news such as the new creation of ILTM Asia in Singapore. Starting in 2018, two different fairs will be created for this area; An exclusive one for the Chinese market that will continue to be organized in Shanghai, and a second one, directed to the rest of markets of Asia-Pacific, and that will take place in Singapore.
