Given the growth in the number of visitors from Arab countries and the need of the most representative sectors of Paseo de Gracia, the Association organized a training workshop in the Arab market attended by 42 members and held in the Gallery Hotel. The objective of this workshops, exclusively addressed to Premium members, is to inform them of the current market situation and to train them to guarantee the excellence in the treatment of this client.

The workshop, given by Sukeina ElBadaoui, graduated in Tourism and Hospitality from the University of Barcelona and trainer in companies of the luxury sector, began with an introduction to the general characteristics of this market such as the difference between Arabic and Muslim, the origins and geographical location of the Arab countries or their religion and culture, among others.The second part focused on the hotel and F&B sector, explaining the customs and traditions of the Arab population and how to adapt to them, their preferences at lunch time, how to attend them at the spa, etc. In the last part of the training, focused on retail sector and giving a commercial focus, explained the particularities of the Arabs when they buy and consume and also taught techniques of customer service and loyalty.

With this training session was answered to the requests of many members, who had previously requested a training related to this market. In addition, according to feedback from partners, the Association is working to offer more formations that deepen the knowledge of this client.
