Discover the Casa Batlló in the dark

Moon Nights is the title of the new night visit that was launched this December in the historic building of Antoni Gaudí, which will last until February. More than a traditional visit, Moon Nights is an immersive journey full of surprises where light and darkness are the main characters. This is a creative and innovative bet that has more points in touch with a walk in show.

Thanks to Moon Nights, Casa Batlló opens its doors when all the museums are closed, with the intention that visitors can feel like true explorers in the middle of the dark night, and accept the challenge of rediscovering the architecture of the building with light and color, as there are artistic and lighting installations throughout the house.

The Moon Nights visit -which lasts for an hour- will be open every day after 8:30 p.m. and will offer a last pass at 22:30.

With this experience, Casa Batlló combines creativity and solidarity, as it offers 15,000 tickets at a price of two euros for residents of Catalonia. All donations obtained with these tickets will be allocated to the program Mirem per tu of the Barraquer Foundation, which aims to offer ophthalmological help to people without resources in the province of Barcelona. Last year, the same Casa Batlló already offered thousands of tickets to the residents so that they could enjoy the Restoration throughout the year, and the initiative had an excellent response.

In the words of Gary Gautier, general director of the Casa Batlló, “we pass from daytime to night as a space for artistic creation. Mystery, darkness and night are the basic ingredients of this new visit designed for all audiences. A leisure plan for this sunny spring that attracts and swallows the audience. “
