Last December in the Passeig de Gràcia Association we attended the ILTM in Cannes, the reference fair in the luxury and exclusive travel sector.
Although in 2016 we had already attended, in the 2017 edition we had our own space and it is foreseen that, in 2018, the Association will be able to do it within the Turespaña stand.
The ILTM of Cannes has been celebrated for more than 10 years with enormous success and in this edition more than 7,000 people were registered among guests, media, travel agents and suppliers.
The fair has a duration of 3 days and a half, in this edition was from December 4 to 8 and it is an unbeatable opportunity to meet professionals of the sector, networking and narrow synergies with a large number of travel agents.
The Association was representing two hotels in Barcelona, the Hotel Claris and the Hotel Alexandra, and we were able to meet with more than 40 agents from all over the world who knew the city of Barcelona. The stand was a success because the Paseo de Gracia is a reference in the tourism sector thanks to its exceptional location and its varied offer of associates.
Our job consisted of advising the travel agents and recommending the best services of the Paseo from the specific characteristics that each agent referred us from their target clients.
Numerous synergies were established and all the agents were delighted with the offer that the Paseo de Gracia offers to each and every one of the different targets that make up the tourism landscape at present.
We are very proud with the success of the space within the Fair and we are looking forward to the 2018 edition to continue taking the Paseo and the city of Barcelona as one of the tourist references in Europe and the world.
