Casa Batlló, one of Barcelona’s modernist emblems, will become an outdoor cinema on September 17th.
This event is part of the Lychee Film Festival, the first Chinese film festival in Barcelona to take place between 15 and 22 September 2017.
The stage chosen is the Patio Modernista where five short animated films will be directed by some of the best directors of Chinese origin. Legends, allegories, martial arts battles … are some of the themes that connect with the surrealism that Antoni Gaudí impregnated in the architecture of the Casa Batlló.
The short film of an approximate hour of duration counts on the following titles: “Dream of the warrior” of director Li Jin, “Temple of Feng Xue Shan Shen” by Wen Jei / Sun Wei, “Summer insect country” By Tang Bohua, “The Killer: The Prequel” by Wen Jie and “White Snake” by Ruan Junting.
The selection of shorts will be screened at Casa Batlló in a more exclusive and reduced session for 50 people. Those interested in attending the film event at Casa Batlló should sign up on their website. The 50 spectators will be randomly selected from all participants.
